Welcome & Thank you!

Please fill out the short form below.

First, a quick thank you for giving California Gold Connection a try, you won’t be disappointed. The offices that use our service... simply put, WIN!

Due to my high payout, and very unique process, I'm extremely busy during this time of year, as many of you cash in prior to the holidays.

Not only do I buy from dentists, I also buy from other buyers, dental labs, etc… so out of respect for my current client’s, I prioritize all service requests in the order received, and I book up fast!

Just so you know, during my visit to your office, I'm very respectful of your time and patients. I work very discretely, and while you're 100% welcome to watch as I process your scrap, it's not necessary at all.  My goal; to have the least impact on your time and staff as possible, pay you VERY well, then get out of your hair!

Please submit the form below ASAP, I would love to take care of you in person.

If you do miss me while in your area servicing all my other clients, you can always mail your scrap in, at any time for processing and payment.

The Challenge you have when selling to

"conventional" buyers.

Below is an example of dental scrap, (these pictures are of the same scrap) before, and after cleaning. The weight after cleaning, drastically differs from the weight prior. Therefore, average buyers must pay very little when just weighing your scrap in your office without cleaning it, as they have no idea of the actual weight of the precious metals they are buying...it's all guesswork.

All precious metals are bought and sold by weight, so knowing the accurate weight of the cleaned metal is critical, if a buyer is to pay you fair... but that's only half the story when it comes to getting paid fair for your dental scrap.

The other half of the story is, whether the PFM's are precious metal bearing, (high noble), semi-precious, (noble), or non-precious altogether, at least if the buyer is planning on paying you fair. Again, more guesswork...there's no way for a buyer to pay you fairly without cleaning and testing your scrap.

Bottom line...guesswork = LOW PAYOUT!

Generally mobile buyers price your dental scrap figuring the worst-case scenario. When your scrap is good, they win BIG, when it’s the worst-case scenario, they still do VERY well.

Below is an example of yellow and white dental scrap, after cleaning. Good mobile buyers will at least separate the two, however, once again, without cleaning it, the PFG’s can be a challenge to differentiate from white alloys... oftentimes they just get lumped in with the white alloy... you lose once again…

We're often asked; what can I expect from my

dental scrap?

When ask this question, as a rule of thumb, I look at two criteria; how old is your practice, and what type of alloys are you installing.

If your practice is 10 years old or older, it's likely some of the work you are extracting, is work you’ve previously installed. So, depending on the alloys you are using, i.e. non-precious, semi-precious, noble, or high noble, then your scrap will follow suit, for the most part.

So, if you are installing mostly non-precious, well you can expect a large portion of your scrap will test non-precious...thus driving your payout down. On the other hand, if you’re installing semi or precious alloys, then you can expect your scrap to be better in general.

Another variable is the work you are extracting that was installed outside of your practice… as you are aware, that can be just about anything.

Please keep in mind, this is all speculation, but it can give you an idea of what to expect good or bad.

SO HOW DOES CALIFORNIA GOLD

CONNECTION DIFFER?

Once we receive your dental scrap, we clean it all down to bare metal, then test each piece individually. This is a very tedious process, but it’s the fairest. We then separate the non-precious scrap from the precious/semi-precious scrap, and then weigh and pay accordingly.

So why does California Gold Connection go through all this trouble?

It's simple, we've found a way to carve out a niche in a highly competitive market, and by taking the extra time we do to clean and test all your scrap individually, it allows us to pay you way more than the industry norm, which in turn, generates us lifelong clients.

We are often asked, what all do we buy?

PFM's, PFG', Crowns, Bridges, Inlays, Onlays, Partials, Gold bearing dentures, basically when in doubt, send it in, we will test it and pay you accordingly!

PAYOUT

Once our cleaning and testing process is complete, we will call, text, or email you with our quote, whichever you prefer to make sure you are happy. If so, we will pay you in one of 2 ways:

  1. Cashier’s Check – Made out to the name of your choice, and mailed to the address you provide.
  2. PayPal - Please provide your PayPal ID (the email address you use  for PayPal)

If for some reason, you aren’t satisfied with our offer, we will mail your cleaned scrap back to you at our expense. Your scrap won’t be melted down, you will still be able to recognize it as dental scrap, so you can still sell it to conventional buyers.

I would like to thank you in advance, for selecting California Gold Connection as your dental scrap buyer.
